What were your thoughts about him (Andrew) when you first met?

When we first met, I saw him on stage practicing for worship. I knew he was special, but I didn't know why. All I knew is I needed to figure out a way to talk to him, so I asked my friend Dakota for his name to see if he could get it for me... and he did. Then I panicked all night trying to come up with an excuse to talk to him before he left.

What was your most favorite or memorable date and why?

My favorite date by far was when we stayed in one night and watched movies a few weeks ago. We were watching one of the Pirates movies sitting in a recliner. About 45 minutes into the movie at an "intense" scene, Andrew starts giggling, I was so confused, but it made me laugh and when I asked why, he went "We are getting married... one day we are going to have tiny versions of us running around here". One of my favorite things to do with Andrew is to dream and it was a fun moment to dream about!

Tell me about that first kiss!

Right out of a movie! We technically were not dating yet, but had been talking for about a month. We were in the hammock after a football game one evening and we were talking about anything and everything that we could. Then we got to joking around and managed to flip the hammock and he landed right above me. He saw it as the perfect opportunity to make the first move, which it was (;

What do you look forward to most about getting married?

I definitely look forward to doing the smallest things together and building a life with him.

Tell me about the proposal from your perspective!

That morning started off as breakfast with a few friends, a car show, then ziplining. While we were waiting for them to call us to go get our gear, his friend Addison texted him good luck. I asked him why he said that and Andrew said it was because we were about to go ziplining, and if you knew Addison, this makes sense to me! The further into the lines we got, Andrew got quieter. After we had finished, we got to the car and went to meet his mom and his little sister. At the lodge, he was super quiet, super pale, and super shaky. I asked him why and he said it was just because of the ziplines. Then we walked around because he wanted to show me the place, which made sense because I had never been there. We made it to a dock and I had his little sister. His mom asked her to come back with her and he grabbed my hand and proposed! I had no idea it was coming because we had talked about waiting until after I finished school, so I was so shocked that I jumped back and said "No, no way... wait... absolutely!" It was amazing.

What were your thoughts/first impressions about her (Chloe) when you first met? When we first met I didn’t know what to think, I thought she was a very beautiful girl that I knew absolutely nothing about not even her name. When we met at Shift she stopped me on my way to my car and asking if I wanted a snow cone before even introducing herself. We began to talk just about the little things of life. Later that night once I got home and I stalked her moms social media just so I could find hers and keep on the conversation we started earlier in the evening and little did I know we would have talked all night long and every single day after that!

Groom, what was your favorite or most memorable date and why? The memorable one for now is was just a few months ago after we got engaged we were up in Champaign and went to a bunch of different stores dreaming of what kind of furniture/ pillows/ dishes/etc. we wanted in our future home!

What did you think when you first kissed, Groom? We were still at the beginning of our relationship and we were laying on the hammock at her house just talking about everything in life and we somehow managed to flip the hammock and I landed right on top of her and it was just magical!

What do you look forward to most about getting married? I look forward to everyday being able to wake up and see the love of my life by my side!

Groom, tell me about the proposal!

The day i proposed I was so scared!

We took a trip to go visit my mom and little sister for her birthday. I had the whole thing planned out for weeks but still had the nerves going, we had planned to go zip lining where my mom works so we did that and then after we went for a walk around with my mom and sister and I got to ask the women of my dreams to spend the rest of our lives together on a beautiful dock on a pond!

The best part was is that she said YES!!
